SHIPPING AND PROCESSING FEES

Our shipping and processing charges are intended to compensate our company for the cost of processing your order, handling and packing the products you purchase and delivering them to you. We encourage you to also review detailed information about our shipping and processing fees.

All orders subject to product availability.

No automatic back orders.

Most orders are shipped within a 48 hour window.

Dewey’s will not take any order without payment information given at the time.

Orders

Please use our contact form to get in touch, or email us directly at orders@deweys.com!

Using the buttons at the bottom of your confirmation email, customers can edit or cancel their own order for up to 1 hour after the order is placed to correct any issues. If more than one hour has passed, please contact us at orders@deweys.com for any changes.

If you placed one order to ship to multiple addresses, we're not able to offer the ability to edit or cancel your own order. We apologize for any inconvenience.  

Please note: we're not able to make any changes to orders that have already been fulfilled. 

Orders placed before 12pm EST will ship the following business day (Monday through Friday). Orders placed after 12pm EST will be shipped within 2 business days. Ground shipping typically takes 1-6 business days. If you're on the East coast, shipping will be faster since we ship from our bakery in North Carolina.


If you fill you cart and begin checkout, you'll get a more accurate UPS delivery estimate based on your location. However, we recommend factoring in some time for carrier delays during the busy holiday season!


If you wish, expedited service such as 2 Day (delivery within 2 Business Days), Next Day (delivery within one Business Day) are available for an additional charge.

We do not offer pre-ordering on our website. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Yes, you may ship to multiple locations in one order. Add all desired items to your cart. In your cart, you'll see a button at the bottom that says "Ship to multiple addresses?". Check the box next to this text, and you'll be promoted to enter each address. Once you add addresses and click the checkout button, you'll have the option to write a gift message for each address.

In your cart just above the orange checkout button, there is a gift message check box. Check the box, and you can add your message. If you have already started checking out, simply go back to the cart to add your message. 

NOTE: If you're shipping to multiple addresses, the cart will look slightly different. You'll be able to add a gift message for each address during checkout (after you click "checkout" from your multi-address cart). 

No, we do not include pricing on our packing slips.
Our Products

Our products are baked with or may contain traces of Almonds, Cashews, Coconut, Eggs, Hazelnuts, Macadamia Nuts, Milk, Peanuts, Pecans, Pine Nuts, Soy, Walnuts and Wheat. For many products, the exact ingredients will be available as a secondary image on the item page. On each individual product page, the nutritional information is one of the secondary images. View the thumbnails below the main image, then click or scroll over to the nutrition image.

All of our thin cookies, Dewzies and Moravian cookies are shelf-stable, and will be delivered to you with at least 2 months of shelf life (typically it's closer to 6 months).


Our Moravian Sugar Cake is baked fresh, and we recommend that you enjoy within 3 days, or freeze and thaw when ready to eat. These cakes freeze incredibly well, so you can order now, freeze and and thaw anytime (we recommend enjoying within 3 months).


Our soft, chewy Oatmeal cookies and Oatmeal sandwiches will be delivered with a shelf life of at least 30 days.

Our thin cookies have 9 to 10g of sugar per 8-cookie serving. We bake with real cane sugar, nothing artificial. They have 18 to 19 grams of carbohydrates per serving.


We’ve heard from many customers that our thin cookies make a great a low-sugar treat. They can savor a few cookies with coffee or tea for just a few grams of sugar.


Our Dewzies chocolate sandwich cookies have 12g of sugar and 20g of carbohydrates per 3-cookie serving.

Where are the Ginger Spice cookies I used to buy?

Our beloved Ginger Spice cookies will now be available exclusively in our local Winston-Salem bakeries due to the unique baking process required to make this particular flavor. We will not longer ship this flavor. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. 


Our bestselling Triple Ginger cookies are now available in the gift tins and tubes that used to contain Ginger Spice. We bake Triple Ginger Cookies with candied ginger, pureed ginger, and ground ginger to make a flavorful ginger-packed treat. We've been baking this flavor for almost 20 years now and it has become a customer favorite - we're confident that you'll find them to be just as delicious as our Ginger Spice cookies!


What's the difference between Triple Ginger and Ginger Spice?

While the two flavors are similar, our Triple Ginger Cookies have a more a ginger-forward flavor, with chunks of candied ginger in the cookie. We bake them with cinnamon and allspice, just like we do our Ginger Spice flavor. However, Triple Ginger isn’t baked with cloves. 


How are the Gingerbread Cookies different from the other ginger flavors?

Our Gingerbread Cookies truly taste like Gingerbread - so the flavor is less intense and less ginger-forward, and you can taste more of the delicious spices we use (cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg).

Exchange & Return

We guarantee that our baked goods are freshly made with only the highest quality ingredients. If you are not satisfied with your goodies, please call us at 877.339.3974 within 30 days of receiving your order to return uneaten items and receive a refund or replacement.


For non-food items, we allow returns within 30 days of order receipt as long as all tags and packaging are intact. Shipping costs will not be refunded and return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Ground shipping: **FREE** on orders of $60 and up* in the continental US.


Ground shipping on orders under $60 ship for a flat rate of $9.99.


2-day shipping and 1-day shipping are also available. You can see the exact rates once you enter your shipping address on the shipping page at checkout.


*Order total must meet the $60 threshold after all discounts are applied. Free shipping minimum applies on a per-address basis. Orders shipping to multiple addresses require $50 per address for free shipping.

Christmas Delivery

Place your order by December 18th (ground shipping) or December 19th (2-day shipping).

If you're on the East coast, and especially if you're in North Carolina or the Southeast, shipping will be faster - if you fill your cart and begin checkout, you'll get accurate delivery estimate based on your location. However, always allow some time for carrier delays during the busy holiday season.

We are unable to ship to PO boxes or APO addresses. We apologize for any inconvenience.
